[11:49 AM] It’s interesting, disappointing, and nonsensical. The administration line on the violence in Haiti is a common refrain. Yes, this is a violent situation. Once the violence ends and there’s no risk of us getting our hands dirty, we’d be happy to become involved. See Palestine-Israel and Liberia for other recent examples.
